Embedded Linux Developer (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop embedded software for Linux in different languages (C/C++, Python, shell scripts)
  • Configure the Linux kernel and the libraries required by the applicative level
  • Debug code on various systems using suitable debugging tools
  • Test of the developed software on the emulation environment and on the target system
  • Write documentation on the software developed in accordance with the process

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Master's Degree in electrical/information engineering or computer science
  • At least 3 years work experience on Linux embedded system
  • Good knowledge of C/C++, Python and other Linux script languages
  • Knowledge of Linux kernel and its configuration and integration with open-source libraries
  • Familiarity with: basic security mechanisms of Linux environment (e.g. access control list, discretionary access control), communication protocols (e.g. MQTT, ZMQ), session protocols (e.g. SSH), filtering mechanisms (e.g. iptables) and security hardening best practices
  • Familiarity with Arm Cortex-A cores and development with resource constrained architectures
  • Familiarity with cryptographic suites (e.g. OpenSSL) would be a plus
  • Independent and meticulous working style with an analytical mindset
  • Fluent in English, Italian and/or German would be an advantage
