YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement robust quality strategies, establishing standards, policies and procedures to improve overall quality
- Initiate and monitor quality controls, processes and procedures, emphasising continuous improvement through audits, inspections and tests
- Spearhead the implementation of an error-preventing organisational structure (APQP) to drive continuous improvement
- Foster close collaboration with cross-functional departments, including Product Development, Manufacturing, Procurement and Service, to ensure strict adherence to quality standards and effective resolution of quality issues
- Manage and develop teams of experienced quality professionals by providing training, coaching and professional development opportunities
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or quality management
- Solid background of vocational training and continuing education in quality management and assurance, coupled with extensive work experience
- Extensive knowledge of quality standards and methodologies, including ISO standards, dFMEA, pFMEA, cpk, cmk, 8D, SPC, DoE, Poka Yoke, Six Sigma and Lean
- Process management skills with a proven track record of implementing quality initiatives, process improvements and risk management strategies
- Hands-on mentality, acting as an operational quality manager with strong implementation skills
- Fluent in German, Italian and English
- Previous experience in a similar role within a large organisation is essential
