YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement robust quality strategies, establishing standards, policies and procedures to improve overall quality
• Initiate and monitor quality controls, processes and procedures, emphasising continuous improvement through audits, inspections and tests
• Spearhead the implementation of an error-preventing organisational structure (APQP) to drive continuous improvement
• Foster close collaboration with cross-functional departments, including Product Development, Manufacturing, Procurement and Service, to ensure strict adherence to quality standards and effective resolution of quality issues
• Manage and develop teams of experienced quality professionals by providing training, coaching and professional development opportunities

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or quality management
• Solid background of vocational training and continuing education in quality management and assurance, coupled with extensive work experience
• Extensive knowledge of quality standards and methodologies, including ISO standards, dFMEA, pFMEA, cpk, cmk, 8D, SPC, DoE, Poka Yoke, Six Sigma and Lean
• Process management skills with a proven track record of implementing quality initiatives, process improvements and risk management strategies
• Hands-on mentality, acting as an operational quality manager with strong implementation skills
• Fluent in German, Italian and English
• Previous experience in a similar role within a large organisation is essential
