System Engineer - Diagnostics (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the system architect of DC chargers’ diagnostic functions and utilities, both embedded and remote
  • Define and validate the safe operation modes correspondent to possible diagnosed faults and issues
  • Provide relevant requirements to SW department for the diagnostic functions & utilities implementation
  • Monitor and improve the performance of the developed diagnostic tools on the chargers in the field
  • Provide training and guidance on how to use the diagnostic tools in cross-functional teams
  • Provide support and guidelines for diagnosing and resolving functional issues in a timely manner

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a comparable course of studies
  • Experience with subsystem decomposition and system integration of complex electronic devices
  • Experience in diagnostic software development and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++)
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and platforms (e.g. debuggers, vehicle diagnostic systems such as OBD, simulation tools).
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented work approach as well as analytical thinking skills
  • Enthusiasm, teamwork and communication skills
  • Fluent English, Italian and/or German knowledge is an advantage
